An easy way to get a jump-start a new weight loss plan and a new way of life is with a quick short-term “cleanse,” to help eliminate cravings, boost the digestive system, and prepare the body for a new, healthier way of eating. Figuring out which foods are best for a detox can be tricky. So many foods taste refreshing and are rejuvenating — hot tea, raw vegetables and fresh fruit come to mind. These foods, like raw veggies or a green tea promote speedy digestion and “flush” the GI tract. These foods can be considered the best choices.
