Some college football players dream of being picked early in the first two rounds of the National Football League Draft. Some college football players are not that fortunate. Before you shed a tear for them, get familiar with Ahmad Brooks. He played college football at the University of Virginia, and was eventually dismissed from the team due to injuries and off-field problems. When Brooks entered the supplemental Draft after his junior season at Virginia, he got picked by the Bengals. After one season he was waived by the Bengals and then the 49ers claimed him. Brooks worked really hard to earn his spot on the field and he kept himself healthy.
