There was no better night to be a betting man or woman than Sunday night, when the Baltimore Ravens went up against the San Francisco 49ers at the Super Bowl. And while some unlucky bettors went home with crushed egos and wallets as empty as a bucket of chicken on Super Bowl Sunday, Soulja Boy found himself in lady luck’s favor as he went home with an extra $200,000 in his pocket after the Ravens beat the 49ers.
While hanging out with Sean Kingston in L.A. after the game, Soulja Boy spoke with TMZ about his big win and explained why he bet on the Ravens.
“I [have] been living in L.A. for a couple of years, so of course I wanted to see [the 49ers] win,” Soulja said. “But I play with the Ravens on the game NFL Madden ‘13. That’s my team I play with so I bet $200K. And I knew Ray Lewis wasn’t gonna lose; it’s his last year playing, he’s not gonna lose the Super Bowl.”
As for what Soulja Boy plans to do with his major winnings, well, he says he may get himself a new ride.
“I might go buy a car tomorrow,” he said.
