Just pretend for a moment that you are a registered voter and a citizen of a certain jurisdiction and your elected political leader openly acknowledges that he likes “big bootie freaks?”
Well pretend no more, this is the reality for constituents of Jersey City, N.J., Assemblyman Charles Mainor. The issue was raised due to what is included on his Facebook page. Mainor, a Democrat, made headlines last January when he used Facebook to call the Philadelphia Eagles “gaybirds” and the Dallas Cowboys “cowgirls.” Now, on his page he has visibly liked Facebook pages such as Big Bootie Freaks and another page that posts videos of physical assaults called You Got Knocked the F— Out Man.
Some feel it is basic hypocrisy for an elected representative to publicly stand against violence and gun violence, yet admit to “ liking” the You Got Knocked the F— Out Man page.
Currently, Mainor serves as chair of the Assembly Law and Public Safety Committee. In a recent interview he stated that he will un-like the page as soon as his daughter shows him how. Guess now he is passing the buck to his kids.
