While both artists are indelibly etched into the hearts and minds of a generation, 2Pac’s influence, music and lasting presence in the consciousness of popular culture seem to make him the preeminent voice of the 1990s. But the legacies of both men are unquestionably strong and though time has moved on since their untimely deaths, their music stands as timeless reminders of what they accomplished in such a short time.
