9. Accusing OKC Thunder of racism
Lil Wayne accused the OKC Thunder of racism after the team didn’t have enough court side tickets to sell him during a playoff game. It was totally absurd. Moreover, Lil Wayne rarely seems self-aware when it comes to addressing racial issues in his music. When was the last time Lil Wayne dedicated a rap to victims of overt racism such as Trayvon Martin, Sean Bell or Oscar Grant? In fact, the last time he spoke about a victim of true racism was Emmett Till, but more on that later.
