How did your business venture with K-Mart come about?

They approached my team because they wanted to start lines with a male and a female. They told me the idea and I really loved it. I felt more of my fans would be able to afford it. Most of the things that I wear cost a lot of money. But I’m excited because this gives my fans an opportunity to dress like me and [it] also [gives them] a chance to purchase something that is affordable.

Will the clothes be eccentric and similar to how we’re used to seeing you? Or will it be totally different from what people would expect?

It ‘s definitely not going to be crazy. It will match my new style and my new era. I want to make it where my fans will buy it, but their parents can buy it if they want to feel sexy and sleek as well. I’m going to have wardrobes where you can dress up and dress down. But I really love the dresses I’ve been wearing lately. They’re really simple, modern and classic. In terms of the funky we’ll have leggings and leg warmers.

What will be the impact of this clothing brand?

This clothing brand will be fun, classic, sexy, rich. You can go to If you are a member on the website, you get exclusives about the line and what we’re doing as we create it. I go there often. I have a lot of fun with the Barbz.
