La La takes Kiyan on tour of Puerto Rico
After the event, La La walks Kiyan around Bayamon and tells him the story of his grandmother, Nina, and how she moved from Puerto Rico to Atlanta, which resulted in La La’s life in America. La La then takes Kiyan to the basketball court that ‘Melo built in a downtrodden neighborhood so that the local kids would have a place to play.
