Tasha Marbury is the newest VH1 “Basketball Wives” cast member. Marbury is actually friends with Shaunie O’Neal, the show’s creator and producer, and Evelyn Lozada, the show’s most recognizable star.
Marbury has been married to former Georgia Tech and New York Knicks basketball standout Stephon Marbury, who’s had a penchant for head tattoos and creating headaches since 2002. They have two children together. Friction was created when he allegedly slept with the family chef, who later outed the baller, claiming that he paid her $1 million to keep quiet about their extramarital affair.
More recently, Tasha Marbury filed a restraining order with the New York police department against alleged stalker, Monet Merchand, who’d been harassing Tasha and claiming that she slept with her husband. She has been on twitter calling Tasha “an insecure ho” and saying that Tasha is “worth less than a burnt out light bulb” who “will always live in shame.”
