Derek Fisher, according to the christianpost.com: “My belief in God keeps me strong even when we’ve lost a game or the circumstances are bad and it seems like it is the end of the world. You go home, get a good nights sleep, wake up and thank the Lord for blessing you with another day. He allows you to keep on going.
On the court, my faith in Jesus allows me to play with a clean heart. I play as hard as anybody, but I do it because of my love for Him and my love of the game. We play an emotional game, but God keeps me balanced as far as being able to play under control. I have no hatred or animosity towards the other team.”
