With some books, you have to get to the middle of the book before it picks up; well, The Cartel series is a page-turner from start to finish.
The third and fourth books were simply amazing! After the rollercoaster book two takes you on, what could possibly come next? I can say that when you hear that “blood is thicker than water,” your response can be “not necessarily.” The family is struggling to remember and reinforce loyalty to one another, and just can’t seem to get it together. With an added love triangle brewing in the equation, it only complicates the situation. Choosing the person you’re in love with over your blood can turn into a deadly combination. Can you even love someone with such a vicious and deceitful past? When trust in any relationship is broken, it’s hard to overcome and forgive. This book makes you question if diamonds really last forever. It surely seems that way.
