Jose Cuervo, Don Julio and 1800 Tequila teamed up to bring the 2013 Tequila Street Festival to Houston. Festivalgoers were able to sample different flavors of Margaritas and Tequila from different vendors and promotional booths. The first annual festival was inspired by Houston’s ongoing International Festival hosted by Annise Parker, mayor of Houston. Among the great smell of exotic foods and striking arts and crafts, there were over six blocks and eight stages of performances by local artists, Latin dancers, Spanish orchestras and dramatic presentations.
