Oscar Robertson: Before Michael Jordan came along, Robertson was viewed by many as the greatest NBA player ever, particularly its greatest all-around talent. In 1961, Robertson averaged 30.4, 11.4 assists and 12.5 rebounds — the only player to ever average a triple-double for an entire season. He also ended his career with 181 triple doubles, another record that may never be matched.
