How did the Hall of Fame cornerback know Pilar Sanders was looking for a come up when she was with him?
She asked for $100,000 to marry him, according to the now ex-husband.
“A lot of people don’t realize I’m the one who filed for divorce,” said Deion Sanders, according to sandrarose.com. “She knows why. She’s got to live with it. Everybody in the city knows why. A man just doesn’t wake up, all of a sudden, and say, ‘I want a divorce’.”
“I took care of business 14 years ago before we walked down the aisle,” he said of the prenuptial agreement.
“The truth of the matter is, when you have to take care of business before you walk down the aisle, you know something will go down eventually. When a person asks for $100,000 before you get married, you gotta know what time it is. But if you’re young and dumb and stupid enough, you do it anyway.
“But I have 3 wonderful children,” he added. “The only thing left is the actual divorce itself. If I’m such a horrific and horrible guy, please relinquish my name,” he said. “Release my name.”
Pilar Sanders is not the only one to be referred that way. There are many others whose actions would lead many to refer to them as gold diggers. We’ve listed them here.
