Gucci Mane arrested
An Atlanta rapper is currently in jail after a fan told authorities he assaulted him with a champagne bottle. Gucci Mane, real name Radric Davis, was taken into custody Wednesday on a charge of aggravated assault with a weapon.
As previously reported James Lettley of Fort Hood, Texas, who is a member of the military, claims he asked the rapper for a picture at Atlanta’s Harlem Nights club on March 16. Obviously perturbed by the request, Lettley says the rapper attacked him.
Similarly a second man has come forward to allege that they were attacked by the rapper in recent weeks. A Philadelphia man, only identified as TJ, told news outlets that Gucci punched him in the face at Club Onyx in Philly just two days after he allegedly assaulted Lettley. TJ says he was trying to shake the rapper’s hand.
