They aren’t overnight sensations
Each artist on the wealthy list have been in rap for over a decade. Dr. Dre is the oldest and has been in rap for 25 years. 50 Cent is the youngest and released his debut album, Get Rich or Die Trying, in 2003. But to become extremely successful in any business, it takes time to develop an understanding of the business, develop the right relationships and put yourself in a position to make the right decisions. It doesn’t happen overnight.
