Diddy nearly fell off after the death of Biggie Smalls and when the Bad Boy label was depleted. Jay-Z’s first two albums didn’t sell well and he thought about leaving rap. Dr. Dre had trouble adjusting after leaving Death Row Records. Birdman and Cash Money nearly became irrelevant in rap after Juvenile, B.G., Mannie Fresh, and Turk left the label. 50 Cent hasn’t had a hit in years, but he still made the list. Hardships will come, but it takes an adjustment to survive in business.
