Celebrities logged onto social media to give congratulations to LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat for not only the second-longest winning streak in the history of the NBA (27 games) , but also the second-longest winning streak in the long annals of American sports.
No team from the world of basketball, football, baseball, hockey, soccer, golf or any other team sport have ever strung together a winning steak as long as 27 consecutive wins — except the Miami Heat of 2013 and the Los Angeles Lakers of 1971, who hold the all-time American record of winning 33 games in a row.
Knowing just how hard a feat that is to accomplish, fans and celebrities alike took to Twitter pay homage to what the Heat had actually accomplished. Take a look at what they had to say.
