Brandy’s acting career has been thriving as of late, with her return to “The Game” and a role in Tyler Perry’s upcoming Temptation. But the singer-turned-actor now seems to have her eyes set on daytime TV as a replacement for Joy Behar on “The View.” However, Brandy may have some stiff competition from one of reality TV’s biggest stars, NeNe Leakes.
In a recent interview with VH1’s “Big Morning Buzz,” Brandy explained that she’d love to replace Behar when she leaves “The View” in August.
“I would love to do something like that. Seriously, beause I’m bubbly, energetic, and I just want to talk to people and find out everybody’s business; I’m nosey,” she said.
However, landing the role may not be so easy for Brandy since Leakes, who’s made it no secret that she would like to have her own talk show, is at the top of Behar’s list to replace her on the show.
“I love NeNe!” she told WetPaint. “I think she’d be very good … She’s fun!”
Well, we’ll just have to wait and see how this one plays out, but those two aren’t the only ones who would do well filling Behar’s shoes. Check out a list of stars that we think could replace Behar below. –nicholas robinson
