It’s been a long road to love for Kandi Burruss, who recently got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Todd Tucker. And it seemed like it would be another long road down the aisle as the couple initially claimed that they wouldn’t tie the knot until 2014. But now it appears that Burruss is picking up the pace and getting hitched this year.
During a recent interview with Sister 2 Sister, Burruss opened up about her wedding plans and denied rumors that she was getting another spin-off reality show to cover the nuptials.
“As of now, we have not planned to. We have talked about it back and forth. But as of now, no,” Burruss said. “We’re open, I guess. Possibly. We haven’t made plans to do it on TV. Right now, I kind of plan to do it privately.”
But the bigger revelation came when Burruss announced that she and Tucker will tie the knot towards the end of the year.
“We were talking about early next year,” Burruss said, “but my friends say were waiting too long, so we’ve pushed it up a little bit. We haven’t got too far in the wedding planning process yet.”
Considering that Burruss is juggling two TV shows, The Real Housewives of Atlanta and The Kandi Factory, as well as her Bedroom Kandi sex toy line, we can imagine that 2013 is going to be a pretty hectic year for her. But we doubt that she has any problems with marrying Tucker sooner than later.
