A lot to chew on this week.
It’s another broad week of new releases, though there isn’t a bonafide blockbuster a la I Am Not A Human Being II or The 20/20 Experience, there are nonetheless, some pretty high profile releases mixed in with the usual artsy eclecticism.

A Young Money superstar not named “Nicki” or “Drake’ or “Wayne” drops an album this week, as well as a former chart-topping rapper from the snap/crunk era. We also get an album from an 80s band that landed it’s biggest hit on the Pretty In Pink soundtrack–and the actress who starred in Pretty In Pink.
That’s gotta count for something–at least in the “Random Pop Culture Sweepstakes.”
