Mike Tyson loses 100 pounds on vegan diet

Mike Tyson revealed how he recently shed more than 100 pounds by adhering to a vegan diet as a lifestyle change. Admitting to a life of drugs and cocaine while being diagnosed with high blood pressure and being so overweight that he could not breathe at times, Tyson felt it was necessary if he wanted to live.

“I’m not on drugs, I’m not out on the streets, I’m not in clubs,” the 46-year-old explains. “And, everything that I do now is just basically structured around the development of my life and my family.


“I lost weight, I dropped over 100 pounds. I just felt like changing my life, doing something different. And so I became a vegan. Becoming a vegan, it gave me another opportunity to live a healthy life. I was just … so congested from all the drugs and bad cocaine, and I couldn’t hardly breathe, [I had] high blood pressure … and arthritis. Once I became a vegan, all that stuff, it diminished.”
