A former clinic employee, Lynda Williams, said Gosnell, who gave her “the creeps,” instructed her to turn a baby over and cut its neck with a pair of scissors. Williams, who suffers with depression and is bipolar, is a high school dropout and doesn’t have a medical background. She was desperate for a job and was hired as an instrument sterilizer and later she administered ultrasounds, intravenous medication and anesthesia to patients — outdated pain medications were even administered. She also divulged in court that Gosnell changed paperwork of late-term pregnancies to make them appear less than 24 weeks, which is the legal maximum gestational age to perform an abortion.
