Juanita Bynum released, more arrest details
Prophetess Juanita Bynum is officially a free woman. After spending hours at the Lew Sterrett Justice Center in Dallas County, Texas, Bynum was released Friday.
As previously reported, the famed televangelist was taken in on a capias warrant, one that was not criminal in nature.
Now more details on her arrest have surfaced.
According to the Dallas News, Bynum appeared in court Friday for a civil proceeding. Bynum apparently failed to pay an entertainment company $140,000 as ordered in 2007. Bynum was sued by the company for failing to perform in a play after receiving payment.
Reps for Bynum have yet to speak on her arrest. -danielle canada
