Sexy celebrity women such as Rihanna, Ciara and Mya have all been photographed smoking a hookah. However, women who smoke a hookah face greater health issues than their male counterparts.
According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that smoking a hookah retains all the carcinogens of cigarette smoke while adding more carbon monoxide and extra carcinogens from the use of burning coals. Also, a hookah user inhales 100 to 200 times the volume of smoke inhaled from a single cigarette.
