George Jones dead at 81
Reps for a country music legend are confirming reports that he has died. George Jones noted for the songs “She Thinks I Still Care,” “The Grand Tour” and “He Stopped Loving Her Today” passed away Friday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, reps for the singer said.
He had been hospitalized since April 18 with fever and irregular blood pressure.
Nicknamed “The Possum” and “No-Show” Jones for often cancelling concerts, George Jones was 81. -danielle canada
