Salad Dressing
The salad itself may be a healthy food choice but what you put on top of it is what should matter most. Fresh lettuce, carrots, and tomatoes are all great food choices but once drenched in store bought dressings, the healthy meal or snack is ruined. Try making your own dressings at home to avoid extra sugar, sodium and other additives. Simple ingredients such as olive oil, vinegar, lemon and fresh herbs make great fresh toppings for salads.
