This collegiate flick from John Singleton features caricatures instead of characters and a plot that mines every cliché in the book. A movie that pretends to challenge racial and gender stereotypes while actually feeding into them, this flick endorses or celebrates whatever prejudices the audience had before they pressed ‘play.’ “Unlearn” indeed.
