Howard University graduates celebrate with their families, some traveling over five hours to get to Washington, D.C. Graduation day is a day that will forever be remembered not only in the recent graduates’ eyes but also throughout the entire family. Many family members experience mixed emotions ranging from separation anxiety to excitement at having gotten through financial hardships trying to pay tuition. Regardless of the good and bad emotions, all come together to celebrate and rejoice that their son, daughter, sister, brother, niece, or nephew made it through!
