Shortly after photos surfaced of hip-hop superstar Kanye West filming a cameo appearance in the highly anticipated sequel Anchorman: The Legend Continues, it has been confirmed that another big-name rapper will also be joining the ever-growing list of celebrity cameos.
Young Money’s Drake was on the set of the goofball comedy sporting a hilarious-looking “Jewfro” that recalls the Juan Epstein character from the 1970s sitcom “Welcome Back, Kotter.”
Drizzy was in New York City on May 19 shooting his scenes for the film, which is reportedly filled with celebrity cameos. The mainstays from the original 2004 hit, Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell and Christina Applegate, have all returned. Kanye, Jim Carrey, Liam Neeson, Amy Poehler and now Drake are all reportedly featured in cameos.
West was photographed on the film’s Atlanta set last week.
Of course, acting isn’t new for Drake. He famously appeared on the Canadian teen comedy-drama “Degrassi” prior to becoming a successful rapper.
