Three Chicago teens are facing sexual assault charges after raping a 12-year-old girl at gunpoint and posting the footage on Facebook. According to reports by the Chicago Tribune, Scandale Fritz, 16, asked the 12-year-old girl to come to his house around 3:30 p.m. in December.
When the girl arrived, Fritz’s friends, Kenneth Brown, 15, and Justin Applewhite, 16, were also at the home. Fritz demanded sex from the 12-year-old. After she refused, Fritz took the girl to his basement and raped and sodomized her.
Firtz then told the girl to have sex with Brown and Applewhite. She refused at first, but Brown pointed a gun
at the young girl. Firtz videotaped the sexual acts, including the moments when Brown aimed the gun at the girl while raping her. During the video, the teens also yelled their gang affiliations and showed their signs.
Firtz posted the video on Facebook and tagged Brown and Applewhite one day later.
The girl told someone of the rape and she was treated and examined at a hospital.
Police where notified in December, but the teens weren’t charged until May. They were all given a bond and are due back in court on June 6.
