He had been known as the frontman of Boogie Down Productions throughout the 1980s and early 90s, but his 1993 solo debut had only garnered a lukewarm reception. Kris Parker unleashed his full arsenal on his eponymous sophomore LP, however, and dropped one of the greatest albums of his career. Combining stellar production from luminaries like DJ Premier and Diamond D with some of his most focused and impeccable rhymes, the Bronx legend proved that his knowledge still reigned supreme over nearly everybody.
