‘Love & Hip Hop’ cast demanding more money
After garnering millions of viewers for their Mona Scott-Young-produced program, the cast of “Love & Hip Hop” is reportedly on strike over contractual issues. TMZ reports that a number of the New York cast members refused to film a trailer for season four this week until they were given a pay increase.
The cast is reportedly asking for double their salaries and more control of the show’s editing. A number of them were reportedly displeased with their portrayal on the program.
Fans of the program shouldn’t fret, however, the cast that includes Joe Budden, Tahiry Jose, Yandy Smith, Erica Mena and Olivia Longott is hoping to reach a resolution by the end of the week.
The news also may or may not have been confirmed by another cast mate, DJ Raqi Thunda, who sent out the tweet below.
