Lanous “LT” Wright, president of the Georgia Tech Black Alumni Organization, decided that the organization needed to socialize in a larger group and invited several black alumni groups to come out and join his members in a rooftop mixer at 866 rooftop (866 W. Peachtree atop the Renaissance Hotel). It was a great move as alumni from Florida State, Georgia State, Morehouse, and more all came together to network while having a great time on a beautiful spring evening.
There was no “official program” so everyone was relaxed and it made for a very social evening. The tapas were tasty and the drinks were flavorful with just the right kick.
