Twitter reacts to the death of Jean Stapleton of ‘All in the Family’

Actress Jean Stapleton has died. Stapleton was the leading lady on “All in the Family,” one of the top sitcoms in the history of American TV. As Edith Bunker, Stapleton’s high-pitched voice complemented her husband’s, Archie Bunker, radical views on race.

“All in the Family” was also the show that produced the hit comedy spin-off, “The Jeffersons.”


Stapleton was 90 years-old.
