George Zimmerman:
Zimmerman was the zealous neighborhood watch volunteer who spotted Martin walking in his neighborhood and dialed 911 on the night of Feb. 26. Zimmerman, 29, who grew up in northern Virginia, had aspired to be a police officer. He admits he shot and killed Martin, but says his actions were in self defense after Martin continuously bashed his head in the concrete and broke his nose. Prosecution is expected to make a big deal of the 911 call where the dispatcher told Zimmerman that they didn’t need him to follow Martin.
