5 things Trayvon Martin did on social media that will be used against him

One of the ways the George Zimmerman’s defense team is going to try to exonerate their client of second-degree murder charges in the admitted shooting death of Trayvon Martin is to paint the portrait of a menacing teenager who was stalking the gated community and who was the aggressor in the fatal fight.

One of the ways in which Zimmerman’s defense team — which include the public pronouncements of his father and brother, Robert Zimmerman Sr. and Jr., respectively — probably plan to do this is through Trayvon Martin’s alleged postings on his social media accounts.

Right-wing bloggers and pro-Zimmerman websites chose to publish only the photos that could be used to paint the deceased teenager in a negative light in the months following his death. Other photos, such as when Martin was hugging his father or holding a baby, were purposely not published by sites like The Daily Caller.


Don’t think for a moment that the Zimmerman defense team didn’t take notice of how the negative reactions began to swell about Trayvon Martin among pro-gun advocates and others after “select” photos of Martin by ultra-conservative sites were published.
