KFC and ‘VIBE’ magazine kick off the Fresh Fathers Campaign in Houston

VIBE magazine and KFC have teamed up with celebrity fathers Boris Kodjoe, Tyrese Gibson and Ne-Yo, to bring the “Fresh Fathers Campaign” to a national platform. The contest asks fans to upload pictures and share stories about their fathers and other fathers who have made an impact in the lives of their families and friends.

The contest also features a micro site original series called,”The Convo” which highlights intimate one-on-one conversations with Tyrese Gibson, Ne-Yo, The-Dream, Snoop Dogg, Boris Kodjoe and Raheem Devaughn.


“It’s our responsibility as fathers to create the standards in our children’s lives,” said Tyrese Gibson who discusses his diverse career and dedication to his daughter on the Web series.

“I am excited to announce the launch of the Fresh Fathers Campaign! We’re thrilled to partner with VIBE magazine to give some of these fathers the recognition that they deserve. Family and friends are able to nominate their favorite father for a chance to send him on a trip to Las Vegas for VIBE’s 20th anniversary from August 19th to August 21, 2013.
