Carla Hall: Paula Deen tasted Hall’s servings of hush puppies when she competed for “Top Chef” and quickly dismissed them as something akin to spit. But, funny how things roll full circle because Hall went on to be a success anyhow and even invited Deen onto “The Chew.” Must have been sweet revenge.
