Researchers at Oakland University in Rochester, Mich. have concluded men perform cunnilingus as part of a “mate-retention strategy” to minimize the risk of their partners’ infidelity. The theory is based on the results of polling 243 men in committed, heterosexual relationships. The study titled “Is Cunnilingus-Assisted Orgasm a Male Mate-Retention Strategy?” further concludes that men perform oral sex to ensure their mate is sexually satisfied with him, solely.
Critics have stated that this study is “pointless” and all human behavior doesn’t require analyzing.
