We checked out your website, AngelaIam.com and you seem to be really passionate about it. Tell us about it.
It’s basically a place for my fans and anyone that wants to keep up with me. It’s also a place that’s really about inspiring and helping young females. I have a beauty section, a fitness section, and an “Ask Angela” section; it goes on and on. It’s pretty much everything in my life all in one place. I’m really excited about it. When I launched it, it crashed [laughs] … which is a good thing, because everyone ran there at the same time. I’m excited, because it’s my baby, and I’m really owning it.
Why did you feel that it was the right time to create a public forum like this?
I want to know my fans more. I want to get to know the person who actually is looking up to me, or who wants to be closer to me. So I felt like a web page was the best place to do it. Having a website, I can do whatever I want … and, at least I know that the person who is coming there loves me, and they want advice. It’s not like it’s in-your-face social media — this is a place where you can come and be a part of my life.
What is one of your favorite parts about the site?
I have a diary on there … I’m a really emotional person, so I open up a lot. I write about day-to-day stuff, whether it’s love, career, or whatever it is, I’m writing about it there, and bringing fans in my life closer to me.
