Celebrities we simply stopped caring about

2010 American Music Awards - Arrivals

Keri Hilson

She is the epitome of the American Dream, a young, beautiful artist who started on the lower stratum of the music industry and grinded her way up to national fame with a hit album and several hit songs. Actually, for a brief stretch, Hilson was on fire as a singer and songwriter, scoring fame on Timbaland’s “The Way I Are” and getting some love on her solo albums, particularly “Knock You Down” and “Pretty Girl Rock.”

But then the ATL starlet refused to pick up a magazine with Beyonce on the cover for a photo shot and the love quickly mutated to injurious hate — nonstop hate. She was being pummeled on Twitter with relentless zeal from Queen Bey fanatics and, just as bad, the musical hits stop coming, and the one-time star retreated back into obscurity, save a few pics of her being boo’d up with her b-balling boyfriend Serge Ibaka.
