Former Cash Money Records rapper-turned-actor Gillie Da Kid has been appearing in independent films for the past several years. In an interview with Mikey T The Movie Star, Gillie listed his most recent film projects.

“I got some movies out right now. Wrath of CainKing of the AvenueMafiaPimp BullyStreets,” Gillie stated, before adding that he is working with action hero Steven Seagal. “I got one coming in November called Force of Execution with me and Steven Seagal, Danny Trejo, and Ving Rhames. Y’all should go check that out; I whip Steven Seagal’s ass in this movie.”

The Philadelphia native also revealed that he is playing late hip-hop icon Tupac Shakur in an as-of-yet unnamed project. “I’m just waitin’ on findin’ out when we shootin’,” said Gillie. “I’m just an actor in that.”

“Just know, n—a, I’ma transform like Will Smith did when he played [Muhammad] Ali. We already know I’m G’d up enough to play [Tupac]. That was never a question.”

“Who else is better to play ‘Pac than me, though?” Gillie continued. “Let’s be honest—especially if it was a f–kin’ rapper. None of these f–kin’ rappers!”

“That’s what these n—as is: they rappers,” Gillie said.
