During the American Black Film Festival (ABFF) in South Beach in June, filmmaker Spike Lee and Cadillac global vice president Don Butler waxed poetic about the fruitful love affair that African Americans have had with Cadillac that extend all the way back to the Great Depression and continue to this day.IMG_0218


The director of Do the Right Thing, Malcolm X and Inside Man took it one step further and discussed just how many times rappers have incorporated General Motors’ flagship luxury brand, affectionately nicknamed “Caddy,” into their songs over the years.
