On the heels of his acclaimed album Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere and riding the creative wave coming out of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’s classic Déjà vu album, the Canadian released this brilliant mix of earnest folk-isms and topical guitar-driven hard rock. While most 60s legends were experiencing an early 70s hangover, Young showed that he was only getting started.
