On “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” Talib Kweli, Nelly and Abbey Dobson performed a tribute to Trayvon Martin that was accompanied by images of the abuse endured by African Americans in the United States for the past three centuries. As the clip of the Zimmerman verdict announcement played, Dobson belted her heart out with the final note of the trio’s tribute, stealing the night’s show.
