After 1993’s Lethal Injection, Ice Cube seemed to put hip-hop on the back-burner as he stormed Hollywood. For years, he was silent except for the occasional lukewarm soundtrack release. Then he dropped this monstrosity. A double album that finds Cube experimenting but failing at most of his experiments, it did little to quiet critics who felt his best days had passed.
