On Saturday, Aug. 17, Ne-Yo honored Academy Award-winning actor Louis Gossett Jr. and renowned photographer Johnny Nunez at his secondnd annual “Fostering a Legacy” benefit in the East Hamptons on behalf of his charity, The Compound Foundation.
The invitation-only event, which recognized the power and creativity of youth in foster care, attracted an A-list guest list, including Luke James, Mario, Bridget Kelly, “The Real’s” Adrienne Bailon, RaVaughn Brown, Kevin Hart and more.
The benefit, which was hosted by comedian and actor Kevin Hart, pulled out all the stops with performances by Estelle and Ne-Yo’s artist, RaVaughn Brown.
Ne-Yo’s ex-fiancee, Monyetta Shaw, even made an appearance in support of her former boo and judginging by her tweets, she had a good time.
It’s great to see that Monyetta and Ne-Yo are still great friends since their breakup. She posted several pics of herself partying with her friends and tweeted, “Hampton Nights at the Compound Foundation Event w/ great company @adrienne_bailon @eyesofbk @itsravaughn @t2dawy @vonsmith1 Whoop!Whoop! #giveback #grownandsexy”
