Carvey was on the cusp of superstardom in the early 1990s and Wayne’s World was still fresh in the public’s minds when he was asked to host the 1992 show. But aside from a Garth appearance, Carvey didn’t really do much that fans would remember for years to come. Now, this show is best remembered as the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ coming-out party.
