Joshua Broussard, 17, who according to his father “loves the rodeo” was stabbed to death on Wednesday morning, Sep. 4, 2013 at Spring High School in southeast Houston. Three other victims were cut. One parent was at the school before the first bell rang for a meeting with her child’s teacher when she saw the trail of blood leading down the hallway from the cafeteria to the back of the school.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office confirmed during a news conference that three persons of interest were taken into custody in connection to the incident. Both the victims and persons of interest are all students at Spring High School. News reports suggest it’s gang-related activity: Hispanics versus blacks.
